Doble Nueve is a domino table, and a table is played with people. These rules are what makes it worth sitting down. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour — in voice, in the name you choose, and in messages.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats or intimidation of other players.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, orientation or origin.
- Sexual, violent or illegal content — through voice, name or messages.
- Any child sexual abuse or exploitation material, and any contact with minors for sexual purposes. This is the line that is never crossed: we act on the account and report it to the competent authorities.
- Spam, advertising or impersonating someone else.
- Cheating or abusing bugs in the game.
How we look after the table
- Mute any player by tapping their avatar in the voice bar at the table.
- Report or block a player from that same menu, or from their card in your friends list.
- Report a message from the conversation itself. As soon as you do, that message stops showing for you.
- An automatic filter checks the text of messages and display names before they are published, and rejects the most serious cases.
- Tiles and reactions come from a closed catalogue, so there is nothing to filter in them — but they still count as messages: using them to harass someone is just as forbidden as writing it.
- People you block are listed in Settings, and you can unblock them whenever you want.
What happens when you report
We review every report and respond
within 24 hours. You are notified inside the app when yours is resolved, even if the decision is that nothing was breached. If someone reports a message, that message and the ones around it may be read by a member of our team: it is the only situation in which that happens, and it is explained in the
Privacy Policy.
What can happen to an account
Depending on what happened, we may hide the content, send a warning, suspend chat — you can still play — or suspend the whole account, which also cuts off voice and online tables. This can happen without prior notice. If you believe there has been a mistake, write to us.
Before your first message
Chat between friends arrives with version 6.0. What follows describes how it works and applies from the moment you can use it. If your app does not have it yet, you have not updated.
We ask you to accept these rules before you send your first message. If you do not accept them you can keep playing, but not use chat.
Contact
Write to us about any problem at [email protected]. It is also the contact point for child safety matters.
